Wie wir Menschen mit der Welt um uns herum interagieren, hat schon immer die technologische Entwicklung beeinflusst. Die nächsten Schritte in dieser Evolution sind Mixed, Augmented und Virtual Reality. Diese Technologien revolutionieren die Art und Weise, wie wir mit Daten umgehen, indem sie die Barriere zwischen NutzerInnen und Inhalt auflösen.
Mixed, Augmented und Virtual Reality haben sich in den letzten Jahren schnell entwickelt und neue Anwendungen für Industrie, Architektur, Training und Bildung geschaffen. Sie bieten neue Wege, Designs zu prüfen und virtuell zu testen. Sie schaffen eine sichere Umgebung, um Fähigkeiten zu trainieren, und erlauben es, ferne Orte zu besuchen und Experimente durchzuführen, die sonst nicht möglich wären.
Das Immersive Realities Research Lab untersucht die Möglichkeiten dieser Technologie aus der Sicht der NutzerInnen und verbessert so das Nutzungserlebnis und die Benutzerfreundlichkeit. Das Forschungsteam entwickelt neue Formen der Interaktion, die der immersiven Natur der Technologie gerecht werden. Das Team entwickelt ausserdem Prototypen und Anwendungen, führt Machbarkeits- und Benutzerstudien durch und berät Sie bei Ihrem Aufbruch in neue Welten.
