“Vision Emmen 2033” – Together with the people from the municipality of Emmen, we are looking to a possible future
This year’s annual meeting of the municipality of Emmen on January 15, 2024 under the motto “Vision Emmen 2033”, which took place with the participation of the Competence Center Design & Management at the Lucerne School of Art and Design, offered the opportunity to present the VA-PEPR project to a broad audience from the public sector. It was a great opportunity for us researchers to discuss with different people about the possibilities of AI technologies and how they will or could affect our lives. Part of the supporting program was the interactive exhibition “Voice Matters”, which was already exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and various prototypes, which showed the audience the potential of voice-controlled devices. Around 250 people from the municipality engaged with and explored the capabilities of voice-based AI.
