Creating immersive virtual experiences

The way we interact with the world around us has always shaped technological progress. The next steps in this evolution are Mixed, Augmented, and Virtual Reality. These technologies are transforming the way we interact with data by breaking down the barriers between users and content.

In recent years, Mixed, Augmented, and Virtual Reality have evolved rapidly, unlocking new applications in industry, architecture, training, and education. They offer new ways to inspect and virtually test designs, provide safe environments for skill development, and make it possible to visit distant locations or conduct experiments that would otherwise be out of reach.

The Immersive Realities Research Lab investigates the potential of these technologies from a user-centered perspective, enhancing both user experience and usability. The research team develops new forms of interaction tailored to the immersive nature of the technology. In addition, the team creates prototypes and applications, conducts feasibility and user studies, and offers guidance as you venture into new virtual worlds.
