Why FabLab users do not share globally

The recent article «Sharing is sparing: Open knowledge sharing in FabLabs» by Patricia Wolf, Peter Troxler, Pierre-Yves Kocher, Julie Harboe and Urs Gaudenz in the Journal of Peer Production finds that sharing knowledge globally in FabLabs is «far from the norm, despite the high claims of the FabLab Charter» (p. 8). The interview study was part of the CreaLab project OKSIF.
