Japan Switzerland Architecture Talk 2022

For the third time, the Architecture Council of Switzerland, together with the Architekturforum Zürich and the Japan Swiss Architectural Association (JSAA), organised architectural lectures by practising architects from Switzerland and Japan. On the theme of “The Door”, the participating speakers reflected on the cultural and typological significance of the door.

Shigenori Uoya (Kyoto Institute of Technology) and
Yujin Hirase (Saga University).
The event was moderated by Thomas Hildebrand (Board of Architekturforum Zürich) and Johannes Käferstein (President of the Architecture Council of Switzerland) in Zurich and Kentaro Ishida, Hiroyuki Kimura and Sho Kurokawa from the Swiss Ambassador’s Residence in Tokyo.
