Diese Bohrer zeichnen sich \u00fcber einen Spitzenwinkel von 118 Grad aus. Willst du allerdings h\u00e4rtere Metalle wie etwa Edelstahl bohren, ben\u00f6tigst du HSS Bohrer mit einem Spitzenwinkel von 135 Grad. Diese etwas flacheren Bohrer lassen sich beim Bohren in hartes Metallen zu Beginn weitaus besser zentrieren.
