Emergency Assistance for students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The HSLU Foundation helps students who find themselves in a particular financial emergency <strong>for a short period of time<\/strong>. The emergency fund payments are one-off payments. The emergency fund is supported by private donors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:700\">Who can apply?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All students (bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s) at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts can submit an application for support due to exceptional financial hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:700\">How much will you receive?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fund&#8217;s resources are limited, so a maximum of 1&#8217;500 Swiss francs will be paid out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:700\">How often can an application be submitted?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone who has received an emergency assistance payment once may not submit another application. Rigi Scholarship for bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The HSLU Foundation awards scholarships to bachelor&#8217;s and master&#8217;s students. The application window opens annually from the end of August to the end of September. Applications can be submitted and considered during this period. The application form will also be available online at this time.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hslu.ch\/de-ch\/hochschule-luzern\/ueber-uns\/hochschule-luzern-foundation\/#4221d374-4f3a-4a17-ba40-8fc8517609b7\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scholarship is made possible by a donation from a private foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-rigi-scholarship-is-intended-for\">The Rigi Scholarship is intended for:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prospective or enrolled bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s students at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in the fields of <strong>Engineering and Architecture, Business, Social Work, Art and Design and Computer Science<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>with <strong>Swiss citizenship <\/strong>or have been domiciled in Switzerland for at least 10 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>who can <strong>prove <\/strong>that they are unable to meet the costs of a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree course either from their own financial resources or with support from their family or other scholarships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship can amount to a<strong> maximum of CHF 5,000 per semester<\/strong>.
