Emergency Assistance for students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The HSLU Foundation helps students who find themselves in a <strong>short-term<\/strong> financial emergency. The emergency fund makes one-off payments only. Its capital is from private donors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:700\">Who can apply?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All students (bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s) at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts can apply for support if they experience exceptional financial hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:700\">How much will you receive?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fund&#8217;s resources are limited; payments are capped at CHF 1,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:700\"><strong>How often can you apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have previously received an emergency assistance payment, you cannot apply again. Rigi Scholarship for bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The HSLU Foundation awards scholarships to bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s students. Applications for the academic year 2025\/26 can be submitted from now until 5 October 2025. Applications that are not submitted within this period cannot be considered. <strong>If you apply, please keep calendar week 43 (20-24 October 2025) free for a possible interview.<\/strong> Participation in the interviews is a prerequisite for consideration in the selection process.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hslu.ch\/de-ch\/hochschule-luzern\/ueber-uns\/hochschule-luzern-foundation\/#4221d374-4f3a-4a17-ba40-8fc8517609b7\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scholarship is funded by a donation from a private foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-rigi-scholarship-is-intended-for\">The Rigi Scholarship is intended for:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>prospective or current bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s students at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in&nbsp;<strong>Engineering and Architecture, Business, Social Work, Design, Film and Art, and Computer Science and Information Technology<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>with&nbsp;<strong>Swiss citizenship&nbsp;<\/strong>or permanent residence in Switzerland for at least 10 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>who can&nbsp;<strong>prove&nbsp;<\/strong>that they cannot afford the costs associated with a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s programme, that their family do not have the means to support them, and that they do not have access to other scholarships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>maximum scholarship amount <\/strong>awarded will be<strong> CHF 5,000 per semester<\/strong>.
