Streets and pillars<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fabian Huber’s work was dealing with the streets and pillars – and their spatial relationships in Lugano – as part of the Master Thesis „Lugano- citt\u00e0 in transizione“. Under the veil of the vision to fill an empty urban space with a market, this work was dedicated to the search for things that make a city a place worth living.\r\nIn an empirical manner, Fabian Huber attempted to derive a design strategy from observations. In cross-fertilization, local phenomena were related to culture and its history and reflected upon. This was interwoven in the thesis book with texts by selected architects and urban planners, which give the work a relevant foundation. Fabian Huber wanted to create a proposal of how a design strategy can be formulated in relation to a specific place and culture that enables us to identify with the place and feel a sense of belonging to it.<\/p>\n\n\n
