What is the role of drawing in architecture education and research ? \nHow can drawing be reconnected to be a tool of communication, investigation and representation within the building industry ?<\/h3>\n\n

On 22nd October 2021 the Institute of Architecture organized a symposium on the topic of drawing. Educators and researchers from all Swiss architecture schools, as well as from Europe, America and Asia were discussing the relevance of drawing in architecture practice in the studio space on the F-floor.<\/p>\n\n

In the morning, different Keynote speakers gave an insight into their work and a panel discussion allowed them to interact. In the afternoon, all participants joined for workshops. All participants were asked to bring an image that represents the role of drawing in her\/his own practice. During the dinner, lively discussions continued…<\/p>\n\n
