The American architect Michael Meredith from MOS Architects spoke about specific projects as well as his general understanding of architecture. Hilary Sample teaches at the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and Michael Meredith teaches at the Princeton School of Architecture. Their academic research takes place in parallel to the real constraints and contingencies of practice and influences both. Both architects write regularly for Artforum and Harvard Design Magazine. The practice designs and builds in an international context with a focus on educational facilities, art, campus planning, housing and private residences.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n    <div class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vortragsreihe \u00abMaterial Economies\u00bb<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>In the lecture series \u201cMaterial Economies\u201d, the contributions by Olaf Grawert and Michael Meredith will discuss two positions from a European and US perspective that deal with the use of building materials in architecture.
